The following guide will allow you to export your registered customers and any email subscribers into an excel form for use with email marketing.


You should ensure your Terms and Conditions policy advices of data collection and your intention to use this for email marketing.



1. Exporting Registered Customers


When customers sign up to your store and register their account, their data is collected for them to use in the future, this can then be exported through the admin panel.


Administration > Export Data > Users


You can select what information is exported from the held user data, Change the csv delimiter to comma, then click on the Export button.




2. Exporting Email Subscribers


If you have enabled an email subscription service on your store front, this data will be collected within the admin of the store.  This can be accessed through the same export process as for customers, by selecting subscribers in the drop down menu.


Administration > Export Data > Subscribers


You can select what information is exported from the held user data, Change the csv delimiter to comma, then click on the Export button.





Combining the data


Once you have two excel sheets containing this information, you will need to combine them to remove any duplicated emails within.  This can be done through copying one into the other within a spreadsheet program and then running a remove duplicates function.  This can them be used as a master list for email marketing.
